Communication books

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

There is nothing more important than good communication between your child’s teacher and you. A popular way of communicating is through a notebook that goes back and forth to school. We also exchange ideas and suggestions. It’s a good way to stay involved in your child’s life at school.

Anthony has the most difficulties with the baby (2 year old boy) but their relationship is getting better. One thing they have in common is playing with Thomas the Tank Engine. Anthony has enjoyed playing with train sets since he was 3 years old. This may be the common interest that will strengthen their bond as brothers.

Try tape recording the sound and then gradually introduce the sound to the child, starting with it at a very low volume. This is known as desensitization.
