Kim Wragge lives in New York with her family. She has been married

 to her husband for 11 years. They have 1 son, Anthony ,withAutism.     The family recently accepted custody of their nieces and nephew,Destiny 7, with autism, Jasmine 5, and Derek 2. As a very involved mother, she chauffeurs the children to weekly martial arts, dance and ballet classes. Kim enjoys spending valuable time with her family and making every moment count. As well as caring for her children, Kim works as an occupational therapist in a residential school for autistic children. She participated in national research studies on the effects of sensory strategies used for children with autism. Kim has attended many conferences on applied behavioral analysis, communication skills, sensory integration theory, and autism across the lifespan. Kim also presented during parent and teacher workshops on various topics including sensory integration techniques, therapeutic play skills, behavior management techniques, and functional independence in daily living skills. Kim and other parents formed a committee to open a new school for autistic children in their area. She is specifically involved in developing the academic curriculum as well as designing the related services treatment areas. Kim has created a website where information on autism can be shared through newsletters and autism awareness can be promoted.
